In this workshop, we'll do two things - we'll learn the notes of the gorgeous slow tune "Inisheer," and we'll talk about how to create basic harmonies as a melody player. You don't have to do both of those things - if you'd like to *just* learn the notes, that's just fine! You'll have the option of continuing to work on the melody, or diving into harmony in the second half of the class.

If you choose the harmony option, you'll get a quick primer on how to create harmony based on two general ideas - hacking the chord structure in order to select harmonious sustained notes, and paralleling the melody.
